Enterprise Enablement Program
Samuel provided a recap of the program's three pillars: piloting with diverse organizations, creating an open-source toolbox of methods/templates, and building an onboarding pathway for implementation partners. The goal is to bridge the gap between learning about blockchain and deploying real-world solutions by March.
Samuel Wiedmer to continue prepping the toolbox and partnership requirements for a March launch.
Business Development (BD) Framework
The group discussed the need to scale BD capabilities beyond the Cardano Foundation (CF). Phil suggested a pilot program to test proactive BD. Yoram emphasized the need for a coordinated, systematic approach to vertical-based BD (targeting specific industries) rather than general messaging.
Phil Lewis & Yoram Ben-Zvi to work on a draft document defining the BD framework and proactive pilot ideas.
Trusted Partner Network & Ambassador Program
Discussion on identifying recognized organizations to act as trusted partners, using CF as the "root of trust." Yoram proposed a specific BD Ambassador program that is more task-oriented and coordinated than current community programs. Gintama highlighted the need to empower internal businesses to find their own deals rather than relying solely on CF branding.
Phil Lewis to lead the documentation of the Trusted Partner Network. Yoram Ben-Zvi to flesh out the coordinated ambassador program concept.
Ecosystem Mapping Tool
Phil introduced requirements for enhancing Cardano.org to include a broader database of service providers (legal, regulatory, etc.) beyond just DApps. Discussion focused on how to verify submissions (centralized via CF vs. decentralized/community-based) and the challenge of keeping the data up to date.
All Members to review the Requirements Document and Spreadsheet shared on Discord/Chat. Laura Mattiucci to involve web developers and potentially Marcus/Tommy in implementation discussions.
Regional Focus & Training
Umar highlighted that different regions (Europe, LATAM, etc.) have different vertical focuses. He suggested a training program to teach the ecosystem how to approach businesses and governments without getting bogged down in "crypto-jargon."
Umar Jan to discuss the feasibility of building this out as a course within the Cardano Academy with Nadia.
Project Complimentarity
Alex mentioned the "Ecosystem Funding" working group starting in the Product Committee, which is complimentary to this group. He noted that while this group handles "connections," the other group handles "capital."
Alex Seregin to facilitate bridging information between this group and the Ecosystem Funding WG.
Meeting Logistics
Meeting cadence confirmed as fortnightly. Request to add new attendees to the formal calendar invite.
Simo Simovic to add Yoram, Alex, and other new participants to the official calendar invite.
